Shauna Moar
“There is no hope for her”
Shauna Moar was told at four years old that she would likely end up in a wheelchair and live a life limited by disability. Born with hypotonia, a rare condition that causes severe muscle weakness, even basic movement was a struggle growing up.
But Shauna refused to accept that story. Today she’s a competitive Strongwoman athlete, recently finishing 2nd at Scotland’s Strongest Woman, and coaching others to become stronger both physically and mentally.
Her journey is one of resilience — overcoming illness, bullying, chronic fatigue, and some of the darkest moments of her life to build extraordinary strength. This is a story about defying limits, rebuilding yourself, and proving that the labels placed on you don’t define who you become.
An emotion and intimate episode.
