Our story

Celebrating People. Place. pURPOSE. Community.

Local Heroes is a storytelling platform built on people, place, purpose and community.

We believe the most powerful stories are found in the places we live and the people who shape them.

Engagement Projects

We create engagement projects that bring people together through shared stories and experiences.

Working alongside businesses, organisations and communities, we create opportunities for participation, strengthen relationships and build meaningful connections that continue long after the project is complete.

Social Impact

We believe great storytelling should create positive change.

Every project is designed to encourage, strengthen and create opportunities for people to connect, contribute and feel part of something bigger.

Story Activation

Stories have the greatest impact when people can see, hear and experience them.

We create powerful storytelling experiences across film, photography, podcasts, exhibitions and live events that inspire connection and participation.

Original Initiatives

We don’t just deliver projects, we create them.

Our original initiatives begin with ideas that have the power to bring people together, growing through partnerships, participation and the stories communities choose to share.

From Concept to Delivery

Every project begins with a conversation.

From shaping the initial idea to delivering the final outcome, we work alongside our partners to ensure every stage is thoughtful, collaborative and driven by purpose.

WHY IT MATTERS

Because local stories aren’t just worth telling.

They’re worth celebrating.

We Are Local Heroes. Are you?
