Welcome to our new podcast producer

As one chapter comes to an end, another begins at We Are Local Heroes.

We’re saying a fond farewell to Alice Smith - aka Flat White Alice - our wonderfully calm, endlessly knowledgeable podcast producer, who after a year in the producer hot seat is heading off on a new adventure in Australia.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything she’s brought to the podcast and wish her all the very best.

And now, we’re delighted to welcome Lottie Steele as our new Podcast Producer.

An award-winning audio producer with a passion for people-powered storytelling, Lottie brings experience across podcasts, audiobooks, radio, and audio documentaries.

Working closely with Chris and Dan, she’ll be helping shine a light on authentic stories - celebrating people, place, and purpose, and the everyday heroes who make our communities what they are.
