Our Story

Born out of Food and Drink North East (FADNE) during the pandemic, Local Heroes began as a way to connect local makers with people in a time of crisis. What started as an online store has evolved into something much bigger:

Local Heroes — a platform powered by creativity, storytelling, and community.

Led by three visionary directors — Dan, Chris, and Rosie — we bring together expertise in film, writing, photography, events, and brand strategy to create projects that don’t just tell stories, but move people.
